1. Plans
- Free — 5 AI diagnostics per month, 1 vehicle in garage, scan history.
- Premium Monthly — billed every month at the displayed price.
- Premium Annual — billed once per year at a discounted rate.
2. Billing frequency
Monthly plans are billed every 30 days from the date you start. Annual plans are billed once every 365 days. The first charge occurs at the end of any free trial you accept, or immediately if no trial applies.
3. Automatic renewal
To keep Premium features active, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period using the payment method on file. You will receive a receipt after each successful renewal. You can disable auto-renewal at any time from Profile → Billing.
4. Free trials
When a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being billed.
5. Upgrades & downgrades
- Upgrade (Monthly → Annual) — takes effect immediately; you're charged the prorated difference.
- Downgrade (Annual → Monthly) — takes effect at the end of the current annual period.
- Free → Premium — Premium features unlock as soon as your payment succeeds.
- Premium → Free — Premium features remain available until the end of the period you've already paid for.
6. Cancellation
You can cancel any time from Profile → Billing, which opens the secure Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal. You keep Premium features for the remainder of the period you've already paid for, and we do not pro-rate refunds for the unused portion of a period except as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Payment processor (Stripe)
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. AiTOMOTIVE never stores your full card number. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms and privacy policy, available at stripe.com.
8. Failed payments
If a charge fails (expired card, insufficient funds, bank decline), Stripe will automatically retry the payment over several days. During that window we'll send email reminders. If the charge ultimately fails, your account will be downgraded to Free until you update your payment method.
9. Price changes
We may change subscription prices in the future. Any change will be communicated by email at least 14 days before it applies to your next renewal. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.
10. Taxes
Prices displayed may be exclusive of taxes. Stripe calculates and collects applicable sales tax or VAT at checkout based on your billing address.
