Terms of Service

AiTOMOTIVE is an AI-assisted vehicle diagnostic and repair education platform. We help vehicle owners decode OBD-II codes, analyze repair estimates, log maintenance, and ask follow-up questions to an AI Mechanic. We are not a repair shop and do not perform physical inspections.

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your vehicle data current.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal activity, including emissions tampering or odometer fraud.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source data or model weights.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute AiTOMOTIVE output without written permission.
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property, contains malware, or violates another person's privacy.
• Use the service to provide professional repair, legal, or insurance advice to third parties as if it were your own expert opinion.

AiTOMOTIVE provides AI-generated diagnostic guidance, cost estimates, and repair education. These responses are informational only and should not replace inspection, diagnosis, or repair performed by a qualified automotive technician.

You remain solely responsible for all repair decisions, work performed on your vehicle, and the safe operation of that vehicle. Always verify safety-critical recommendations (brakes, steering, suspension, airbags, fuel, electrical) with a certified mechanic before driving.

The AiTOMOTIVE name, logo, software, design, prompts, and proprietary model output formatting are owned by AiTOMOTIVE. You retain ownership of the content you upload (vehicle data, photos, repair quotes, messages). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process it for the sole purpose of operating and improving the service.

Premium features are available via paid subscription billed through Stripe. Subscription terms, renewals, and cancellation are described in our Subscription & Billing Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or create risk for other users. We will give reasonable notice unless immediate action is required.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS, COST ESTIMATES, OR AI RESPONSES ARE COMPLETE, ACCURATE, OR APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC VEHICLE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AiTOMOTIVE AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR VEHICLE DAMAGE ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF — OR INABILITY TO USE — THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You agree to indemnify and hold AiTOMOTIVE harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or repair work you or a third party performs based on AI output.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless required otherwise by applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
